How NCS Reporting Works
Under the NCS attendance rules, if a child attends for part of an hour, this is rounded up to a full hour for the purposes of recording attendance. For example, if a child attends a service for 7 hours and 10 minutes, they are considered as having attended for 8 hours. TeachKloud will automatically do this rounding up for you, and calculate the child’s total attendance accordingly. The actual arrival and departure times will still show in the report. By clicking the round hours up button, TeachKloud will populate a separate column called, “Total Claimable Hours” which will display the rounded hours.
