Is the role of a line manager in Teamio, who only evaluates candidates with thumbs up or down, not enough for you, and do you need to involve managers in recruitment more so they can communicate directly with candidates from Teamio? Then this role is exactly for you.
Teamio from the perspective of a line manager who communicates with candidates
In Teamio, you will find 2 line manager roles:
Line manager who only evaluates with thumbs up/down
Line manager who communicates with candidates via Teamio
How does it work?
If you assign the role Communicates with candidates via Teamio to the line manager, they can perform the following actions depending on the response status:
Reject
Move to status Invited or status Onboarding
Record contact
Write to the candidate
Forward
Edit details
Moving to Onboarding status is not automatically set for a manager. You can expand their permissions specifically for this action in the settings.
They have access to both the list of responses and the candidate details, where they will find all these actions.
List of responses - candidate action
List of responses - bulk candidate action
Candidate detail
In the list of responses, the manager is also informed about how long the candidate has been waiting for a response, and in the response detail, they have the option to take action directly through this information - write to the candidate or record contact.
A line manager who communicates with candidates can use already created message templates, but does not have access to their settings (they cannot create or edit templates). Has access to the interview calendar.
In the section Candidates, they have access to all their candidates. They can filter and search among them and also perform selected actions on them.
TIP: If you already have a created line manager who can now only evaluate candidates using thumbs, and you want to change their role to a line manager who leads a recruitment campaign and communicates with candidates directly from Teamio, ask the main user to change the role of this line manager.
There is no need to create the user again. However, if you are creating a new line manager during the recruitment process who does not yet have access to Teamio, you can choose which role this line manager should have right away.
