Do you need to ask a line manager for their opinion on a candidate for your vacancy? Involve them directly in the recruitment campaign in Teamio, where they will evaluate candidates with thumbs and you will immediately know whether to invite or reject the candidate.
Teamio from the perspective of a line manager who evaluates with thumbs.
In Teamio, you will find 2 line manager roles:
Line manager who only evaluates with thumbs up/down
Line manager who communicates with candidates via Teamio
How does it work?
If you assign the line manager the role of Only evaluates with thumbs up/down, they cannot communicate with candidates via Teamio and change their statuses in the selection process. For each candidate, they will find special actions To invite, Not suitable and Leave for later, which they use to express their opinion on the candidate. They can also add a shared note. Teamio will then inform you that the manager has evaluated the candidate or that they have added a note.

To invite – information for the HR person that they should invite the candidate for an interview. Through a note in Teamio, the manager can write a message to the HR person about when they want to invite the candidate.
Not suitable – information for the HR person to reject the candidate.
Leave for later – the HR person will see that the manager has already viewed the candidate but has not yet decided whether to evaluate the candidate with thumbs up or down and has left their evaluation for later.
When involving a line manager in recruitment, you can choose whether you want them to be notified of all new responses or if you want to pre-select candidates and then send them your selection for evaluation.
If you choose the option I want to notify them of all new candidates , the line manager will receive a summary e-mail of all incoming responses to the position once a day.
However, if you decide to involve the manager without this notification, they will not be alerted by e-mail about incoming responses. In this case, it is good to make a pre-selection of candidates and send them for evaluation through the action Send to manager .
TIP: Do you need the line manager's opinion by this Friday? Write a message to the manager in the comment that will be displayed in the notification e-mail.
The line manager will then receive an e-mail from which they can go directly to the list of candidates you sent for evaluation through Evaluate candidates .
In the recruitment list, the manager can look at Vacancy details , which they can access by clicking on the vacancy title.
Through the magnifying glass icon, they have the option to view Job ad previews , which they can also print if needed.
