Insights in Tetra are project-level reports that bring together analyzed content, allowing you to share findings and key takeaways from your research. Here’s an overview of how to create, manage, and share insights in Tetra.
1. What is an Insight?
An Insight consists of three main components:
• Name: The title of the report.
• Description: The main body text of the report, summarizing the findings.
• Associated Snippets: These are the analyzed clips or sections of content that form the basis of your insight.
2. Working with Insights
Tetra provides several powerful features to enhance your insights:
• Play Selected Clips: From an Insight, you can play all of the associated snippets in sequence to review the evidence behind the findings.
• Export a Highlight Reel: Export all associated clips as a highlight reel in MP4 format. This combines all selected snippets into a single video file for easy sharing or presentation.
• Add Snippets: You can add more snippets to your insight as you continue analyzing data, either from the same project or from other projects to include cross-project data.
3. Creating Insights from Snippets
Insights can be created directly while analyzing your snippets:
• When viewing an individual snippet, you can:
• Add it to an Insight.
• See which insights the snippet is already part of.
• Remove it from insights, if needed.
This allows you to build your insights dynamically as you process your data.
4. Sharing Insights
Tetra offers flexible options for sharing insights:
• Publish to Insight Hub: Share your insights organization-wide by publishing them to the Insight Hub, making them globally accessible to everyone in your organization.
• Share Individually: Alternatively, you can share insights on a case-by-case basis:
• Teammates Only: Restrict access to specific teammates.
• Password Protected: Require a password to view the insight.
• Public: Make the insight publicly accessible.
5. Adding Supporting Materials
You can also enrich your insights by adding supporting files or other materials to provide additional context or evidence.
6. Collaborating on Insights
Use the collaboration features to notify teammates about an insight:
• @Mention team members in the comment section to bring them into the conversation and notify them of updates.
• Team members will receive a direct link to the insight for seamless collaboration.
