Use this guide when you need to copy a ticket if it falls under one of the following reasons:

  • Working at multiple nearby locations where the work details remain the same

  • Creating a new ticket after the original has expired, but the job information hasn’t changed.

Begin by:

  1. Searching for the original ticket number and opening the ticket details

  2. In the Ticket Details view, locate and select Create at the top left corner.

  3. From the dropdown options, select Copy.

Note: This action copies all information from the original ticket, including:

  • Work location details

  • Contact information

  • Map drawing

Before saving the new ticket request:

  1. Verify that all copied information is still accurate for the current work still taking place.

  2. Update any fields as necessary, including:

    • Location specifics if there are any adjustments where work will be performed

    • Map drawing adjustments, if necessary, to reflect precise work areas

Once all information has been confirmed and updated, select Submit to complete the creation of the copied ticket.

Tips for Best Practice

  • Accuracy is essential: Ensure map drawing aligns with the current work location information.

  • Copying functionality is best used for nearby locations or continuity after an expired ticket, preventing the re-entry of redundant information.

  • Map adjustments may be needed if the work scope changes from the original location.
