Ritual Integration Features

Ritual is an easy, everyday order ahead integration that allows companies, groups, and employees to set up employee meal programs, corporate event catering, daily ordering, and more.

Key Features

  • Enables Toast customers to join a network of available restaurants from which Ritual’s corporate customers can order at a lower commission rate than other ordering platforms

  • Provides a seamless POS integration, making ordering more efficient and providing restaurants with access to a unique corporate customer base

Enable the Ritual Integration With Toast

  1. To enable the Ritual integration with Toast, log into Toast Web and navigate to Integrations > Integrations management > Browse & purchase integrations.

  2. Enter Ritual in the Search field and select Add Now.

  3. Review the data scope visibility terms and conditions and select Confirm to accept. For more information, see the Data Scope Visibility article. If you have multiple locations, select from the drop-down menu.

    1. Note: Your restaurant must have access to Toast Partner Integrations to add this integration. To learn more about Toast Partner Integrations, see this Support Center article: Set Up Toast Partner Integrations.

  4. Once completed, a representative from Ritual will contact you to assist you with the onboarding process. The onboarding process may take between 24 to 48 hours to be completed.

Configure Your Menu Visibility in Toast Web

During the onboarding and setup process, Ritual will need access to the menus that you wish to use within their platform. In order for the Ritual Support team to view these menus, you must configure your visibility settings in Toast Web. To configure your menu visibility settings, follow these steps:

  1. In Toast Web, navigate to Menus > Bulk Management > Advanced Properties.

  2. Select the Show/Hide dropdown, and select “Visible To” in the Properties section.

  3. Find the menu(s) you would like to show to Ritual and in the Visible To dropdown, ensure that Partners has a checkmark next to it.

Configure Your Dining Options in Toast Web

You will need to set up Ritual-specific dining options for takeout and delivery, for orders to flow into Toast, and accurately report the number of orders and revenue generated by each Ritual integration order type.

You must set up the following Dining Options:

  • Ritual Takeout with the behavior set as Take Out

  • Ritual Delivery with the behavior set as Delivery

Configure Your Revenue Centers in Toast Web

To generate Ritual-specific reporting within Toast, we recommend that you create Revenue Centers that are specific to Ritual. You can utilize the names “Ritual Takeout” and “Ritual Delivery” for the associated revenue centers. Once setup is completed, you will be able to generate reports for each.

Configure an Other Payment Option in Toast Web

During the onboarding and setup process, Ritual’s team will walk you through the process of setting up an Other Payment Option to ensure that your menus and settings work to specification.
