Repeat Returns is a Toast preferred partner integration, enabling your restaurant to have an auto-pilot marketing, loyalty, and rewards program for your guests. Leveraging Toast’s guest data, Repeat Returns's machine learning-based system engages with guests to maximize spend, and at no cost to restaurateurs.

Repeat Returns Integration Overview

Repeat Returns is a one-stop shop for marketing, loyalty, and gift cards, which helps your restaurant unlock hidden data from your guests to maximize guest returns and engagement, and maximize each guest's unique spend potential. Repeat Returns is purpose-built for restaurants, and allows regular Toast operations to amplify your restaurant’s success at no additional time expenditure to the customers. Guests can be added to loyalty and gift card programs, check accounts, and more, directly within Toast POS.

Repeat Returns Integration Setup

If you're new to Toast Partner Integrations, first follow the Toast Partner Connect process as listed in this Toast Central article, Set Up Toast Partner Integrations.

To configure Repeat Returns:

  1. Once you have access to Toast Partner Integrations for your restaurant(s), contact Repeat Rewards directly to learn more and start the onboarding process. You can email support@RepeatReturns.com or call Repeat Returns at (702) 966-3001 M-F for onboarding/questions.

  2. After you speak to the partner and nail down your parameters, Repeat Returns will handle the onboarding process and notify you when back-end setup of the integration is complete.

  3. For gift cards with Repeat Returns: After you've received word you're live on Repeat Rewards and are ready to have your gift card button available on the POS, follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to Payments > Gift cards > Gift card setup in Toast Web.

    2. Select Yes to Enable Gift Cards.

    3. Save and publish your changes.

  4. For loyalty with Repeat Returns: You'll need to ensure you map all your loyalty discounts to general ledger codes. Find more information on mapping general ledger codes in Create and Map General Ledger Codes for Toast POS.


Once you contact the Repeat Returns team, both existing and new Repeat Returns customers will usually have full onboarding resolution within 5-7 business days. After go-live, Repeat Returns provides a 100-day coaching process to ensure you have guidance and success with your integration.

Repeat Returns Onboarding Process

The Repeat Returns onboarding process typically takes 5-7 days, depending on your responsiveness and back-end setup needs. The Repeat Returns onboarding flow consists of four steps:

  1. Repeat Returns intake call with customer

  2. Repeat Returns builds program

  3. Repeat Returns orientation/training with customer

  4. Live Toast POS experience


Repeat Returns will email Toast’s Integrations Support team and CC you to enable the integration on Toast Web during the onboarding flow. Toast Integrations Support will:

  1. Turn on the integration (this may involve turning off your prior Loyalty/Gift Card solution).

  2. Connect the restaurant to your integration on your My Integrations page.

  3. Send Repeat Returns your restaurant GUID(s) for continued setup.


Note: If your restaurant is in a Gift Card/Loyalty Program group, this means the gift card settings will be centralized for the entire group. As only one gift card provider can be enabled for a program group at a time, you may need to be removed from your Gift Card/Loyalty Program group if the location's requested gift card/loyalty provider is different.
