Q: We are running a 27-hole scramble over one day on our 18-hole course. Can we set this up using TM? If so, how do we do it?
A: You can set up a 27-hole event using an 18-hole course. (Note: Depending on your needs, your setup might vary slightly, but you should still be able to use this abbreviated guide for most 27-hole events on an 18-hole course).
A couple of notes first:
We assume all players need to play the same 27 holes. For example, everyone will play the front nine twice and the back nine once.
You will need two rounds to accomplish this 27-hole tournament when setting up your event.
The same format is used for all 27 holes.
To set up your 27-hole event, follow these directions:
In Round 1 (18 Hole Round):
Create Pairings (Round > Create Pairings)
Set your players to use all 18 holes.
Set up a Round Tournament (Round > Tournament)
In Round 2 (9 Hole Round):
Create Pairings (Round > Create Pairings)
When setting your course and tee, assign players to the specific 9 holes (i.e., Front 9 or Back 9) they will be playing (as shown below).
Set up a Round Tournament (Round > Tournament)
Set your players to use specific "Holes" (i.e., Front 9 or 9 Hole Course or Back 9)depending on which nine will be used (as shown below).

At the event level, create a linked tournament.
You can test and review the leaderboard by entering random scores to ensure it has linked the two round tournaments (as shown below).
