If using Stripe to collect credit card payments, and your players are registered through Master Roster Registration, you can allow them to save their credit card information for future transactions. The following transactions will permit your players to use saved credit cards:

When allowing players to save their credit card information, they can also grant permission to managers to use those saved credit cards when processing future transactions on their behalf, for the following transaction types:

  • Event Registrations

  • Membership Programs

  • Round Payments

In this article, we will review the experiences of both players and managers.

Player Experience:

When a player is in the final step of a transaction, they will have an option to save the entered credit card information for future use. If they select the option to save the credit card for later use, they will also have the option to authorize managers to use the stored card for future payments (as shown below).

After completing the transaction, the entered credit card information will be saved. When attempting to complete a transaction in the future, the player can use the saved credit card or enter a new credit card (as shown below).

As a player completes transactions, they can also save multiple credit cards. When saving credit card information, you should enable the Player Dashboard Portal Page, so that they can:

  • View all the credit cards you have saved.

  • Remove any cards you no longer want to keep.

  • Change the permission setting for managers (as shown below).

Manager Actions:

You can view players saved credit cards and remove them (if necessary) in their Master Roster player profile (as shown below).

Additionally, if the player has given you permission to utilize their cards for future transactions, you can register and use their card when checking out for the following transaction types (as shown below):

  • Event Registrations

  • Membership Programs

  • Round Payments
