✏️ Requesting Changes as a Reviewer and Putting a Review on Hold

How to put a review on Hold or request updates from the applicant directly

Updated over 12 months ago

As a Reviewer, you now have more control over your review process. If an Application isn't ready to be approved — whether it's missing key info, is unclear, or needs to be looked at again later — you can now either put it on Hold or request changes directly from the applicant.

Both options will notify your Organization Admin to help keep everything organized. To access both actions, first open My Work to see all your scheduled tasks to review and select a necessary Review task in your list - "Complete Review Tasks" button will turn blue.

⛔ Putting a Review on Hold

Once you click on "Complete Review Tasks", a pop-up window will prompt you to provide your feedback as usual. You will notice an orange 'Put on Hold' button on the available actions list. Your feedback won’t be shared with the applicant — they’ll just see that the status is Hold.

A pop-up message will note that your Inbound Administrator will have to remove the hold and may re-send for review.

🟨 Requesting Changes

Alternatively, to request a change directly from the Applicant, after clicking "Complete Review Tasks", provide the necessary feedback and click on the blue "Request Changes" button.

A pop-up notice will alert you that the Review will be declined and the Applicant will receive the feedback in the Project Chat; your Organization Administrator will be notified as well.

Note for Organizational Admins: The remaining reviews that were scheduled to be completed after the current review will be automatically declined and Admins will have an option to resend the reviews.

Feel free to reach out to support@tressl.ca or via the In-app chat with any additional questions around requesting changes!
