How to complete an action on the monitor portal

What is an action

Actions are tasks or operations that need to be completed to keep the organisation running smoothly. They may be created in response to issues identified through workflows or reported directly by users.


How to complete an action

  1. Open the 9-dot waffle menu in the top left corner in the monitor portal.

  2. Select Actions, and you’ll see a list of actions.

  3. Select the required action.

  4. Click Start Progress to begin resolving the issue.

  5. For action plans generated from validation errors, comments and images may be available. Click the speech bubble icon or media icon to view them.

  6. Select the issue and add a comment to explain the resolution progress. Upload photos if needed.

  7. After resolving the issue, set the action status to Resolved (Yes). This will activate the Complete button, allowing you to close the action.


How to update action

You can click on the cog icon and select an option to update an action’s title, due date, scheduled date, progress, status, and priority. ⚠️Note that progress must be set manually in advance.
