What is approval
Approval allows designated users, such as managers, to approve requests before they are submitted.
How do I add approval to my requests
Access Organisation Settings in the Configuration (the cog icon⚙️ on the top-right corner) and Enable Approval for requests.
Go to Requests and edit the required request.
Change the Requires Approval option from never to always and add Approver Responsibilities.
Add an action (if desired).
Click Save.
You can edit your request form to include a sign-off question for physical approval if needed.
How do I set approval notifications
Go to Requests and click Edit on a target request.
Go to Triggers and click Add Trigger.
Set Trigger Event to on pending approval.
Set Activity to Send Notification.
Select who you want to notify.
Click Save.
How do I view requests that need approving
Head over to the 9-dot menu in the monitor portal and go to the desired request module.
You will see all requests that are pending approval, submitted, in progress, or closed.
Once a request is added, follow the on-screen instructions to accept or decline it, and then move it to Submitted.
