With Pencil, you can easily upload, edit, and create videos for multiple applications. Below you’ll find out about Pencil's video capabilities, recommendations on video formats, and what you can do with our platform.
Video Considerations and Guidelines
All uploaded videos should be in MP4 format.
We recommend uploading your videos in 1080p quality with a maximum length of 10 minutes. For optimal performance, videos should ideally be up to 1 minute long and at 30fps. Please note that video at other frame rates will be converted to 30fps.
We recommend avoiding uploading 4K videos as the platform compresses the video to fit social channel specifications.
Please take note of the following as well:
All videos must be superless, meaning they should not feature any text or graphics — unless you intend to use a specific intro or outro scene that the platform cannot animate.
All assets must be a finished product. This means that raw assets that have not undergone post-production editing will not be a good use case when using the platform. It is crucial to strictly upload and use "finished" assets.
Post-production editing is not possible on the platform. Our editing tool allows for only basic editing and trimming of assets.
Audio Considerations and Guidelines
All audio files uploaded separately from video files should be in MP3 format.
Audio files, including music tracks uploaded separately from videos, might not be automatically paired with your generated ads. The platform may mix and match audio with different ad variations where it determines it to be the best fit. For full control, you can manually add audio files to specific ads as needed.
