Do I Need to Send an Invoice?

No Manual Invoices Required: You do not need to send us a manual invoice. Our payment system is integrated with Lumanu or Stripe Connect, and when the client approves the content, our system automatically generates a payout for you on Lumanu's or Stripe's end. Lumanu's software or our internal tools then works to create an invoice on your behalf (called self-billing).

If received a payment via your Lumanu account, you have access to an invoice that you can use to follow your own country’s guidelines for declaring income and paying tax as part of your own tax return. If you received payment via Stripe, please reach out to us so we can issue your invoice.

Account Verification: Ensure your account is active and fully verified on Lumanu or Stripe to facilitate the approval and payment process. Manual invoices created and sent within Lumanu/Stripe are flagged in our system and will be deleted.

Tracking Invoices: You can conveniently track all invoices through Lumanu for your own tax purposes. Twirl ensures timely payment of invoices by the deadline set by Lumanu. If you received payment via Stripe, please reach out to us so we can issue your invoice.

Payment Timing Note: We aim to pay within 14 days of campaign completion. While we don’t pay late fees for delays outside our control (some international transfers can take a bit longer), we totally get how frustrating delays can be. If delays happen (in rare cases), we’re in close contact with Lumanu to sort out any backend issues quickly, and we really appreciate your understanding if a delay ever happens.
