Sorry to hear that you're facing issues with Stripe Connect. Please note that Stripe is a third-party financial service not directly affiliated with Twirl operations.
To get paid via Stripe Connect, you must follow the Stripe onboarding process to successfully connect your bank details for prompt payment.
This includes:
Email and/or phone number, and confirm your email/phone number
Type of business (most creators = Individual). If you have a registered business, choose 'Business'
Provide required personal or business info, including address
Connect your bank account for payouts
In some cases, Stripe asks for ID verification
Please allow some time for your ID to be verified. If Stripe is missing some information, you'll see the button saying 'Complete account connection'.
Common Issues
Stripe isn’t opening
This is usually caused by pop-up blockers.
Please:
Disable pop-up blockers
Try a private/incognito window
I can see “Restricted” in Stripe or "Complete Connection"
This usually means Stripe needs additional personal information before payouts can be sent.
You need to:
Open Stripe Connect via the 'Payout' page on your Twirl dashboard
Scroll to Personal details → Edit
Complete missing identity verification fields
Double-check date of birth (a common error)
Save and return
