Using the QR Code Builder

Generate QR codes you can use across your venues, tables, locations, and connection pages

Updated over a week ago

myne includes a built-in QR code generator to help you create, manage, and reuse QR codes for customer check-ins, Dynamic Connection Pages, and any other links you need in-venue or online.

You can create QR codes in two ways:

  • Using a direct URL

  • Using the Builder (for location and Connection Page–based QR codes)

Both options live under Settings (cog) → Connection Flows → QR Codes.

Creating a QR code from a URL

The URL tab is the simplest way to create a QR code.

Here, you can:

  • Paste in any URL

  • Give the QR code a name (for easy identification)

  • Generate and save the QR code

Once saved, each QR code includes:

  • The name you assigned

  • The redirect URL (the destination link)

  • A short link you can copy and share

  • Options to view, download as PNG, edit, or delete the QR code

You can also quickly find QR codes using the Search QR codes field.
This option is ideal for simple use cases like linking to a website, menu, booking page, or a single Connection Page link.

Using the QR Code Builder

The Builder tab is designed for more powerful, venue-aware QR codes — especially when working with Dynamic Connection Pages.

Instead of creating QR codes one by one, the Builder lets you generate multiple QR codes automatically based on:

  • Location (appears if you have multiple locations)

  • Connection Page - A dropdown to select the Connection page

  • Parameters (such as table numbers)

  • Base Name - Base name of the QR code for multiple codes

This is perfect for table ordering, in-venue check-ins, or any setup where each QR code needs slight variations.

How the Builder works

  • Start by selecting a Location.
If you have multiple venues, you’ll see them listed in the dropdown.

  • Next, select a Connection Page.
All of your existing Connection Pages will appear here.

  • You can then add parameters to the QR code.
    For example:

    • Parameter key: table_number

    • Values: 1, 2, 3, 4 (or a larger range). If you enable multiple values, myne will automatically generate a QR code for each value.

  • Finally, enter a Base Name — for example, “Table Ordering”.
Each generated QR code will use this base name with the parameter value appended, making them easy to identify later.

When you click Generate & Save, myne creates all the QR codes at once and adds them to your list.
