How do I upload my design or find my mockups?

How V1CE's design and mockup approval flow works, where to upload your files, how to request changes, and the rule that V1CE only prints what you approve.

How do I upload my design or find my mockups?

After placing your V1CE order, you upload your logo and design files to the design portal. V1CE's design team creates a mockup, emails it to you for approval, and only goes to print after you approve it. V1CE does not print any cards, including replacements, without your mockup approval first.

Important: V1CE prints exactly what you approve

When V1CE prints your card, it is printed exactly as you approved on the mockup, typos, sizing, layout and all. Check your mockup carefully before approving. If something needs to change, request a revision on the mockup before approving rather than approving and then asking for a fix.

The V1CE design process

The V1CE design process has six steps:

  1. Place your order on v1ce.co

  2. You are redirected to the design portal (and receive an email with a direct link to your order's portal page)

  3. Upload your files: logo, design instructions, brand colours

  4. V1CE's designer creates a mockup and sends it to your email (the email used to place the order). The mockup also appears on the portal.

  5. You approve the mockup, or request changes

  6. Once approved, your card goes to print. If approval happens within working hours, the card typically leaves with the next day's shipments.

How to upload your design

To upload your design after placing an order:

  1. Log in at v1ce.co/dashboard/orders (or click the direct portal link in your order email)

  2. Find your order

  3. Click Upload Design or Design Brief

  4. Upload your logo (PNG or SVG works best)

  5. Add any instructions: colours, layout preferences, text

  6. Submit

Where to find your mockups

Mockups are sent to the email address you used to place your order, and they also appear in your order's page on the design portal. If you cannot find your mockup:

Check your Spam, Junk, and Promotions folders.

Search for emails from V1CE or noreply@v1ce.co.

Log in to v1ce.co/dashboard/orders and open your order. The mockup is visible there once it has been produced.

If it has been more than 2 working days since you uploaded your design and there is no mockup yet, contact V1CE support with your order number.

Requesting changes to your mockup

To request changes to your mockup, reply directly to the mockup email with your feedback, or request changes from inside the portal. V1CE's design team will make the changes and send you an updated version. There is no fixed limit on revision rounds before approval. Request as many revisions as you need to get the design right, since V1CE will print exactly what you approve.

Design guidelines

For best print quality:

Logo format: PNG, SVG, or PDF with transparent background.

Resolution: at least 300 DPI.

Card size: standard credit card size (85.6mm x 54mm).

Bleed area: keep important elements at least 3mm from the edges.

Metal cards: laser-engraved in gold or silver only. Full-colour printing is not available on metal, so use PVC or bamboo for full-colour designs. See Can I customise a metal Smart Card?

Common issues

I was not redirected to the design portal after ordering

If you were not redirected to the design portal after ordering, go directly to v1ce.co/dashboard/orders and find your order. The design upload link is there. Your order confirmation email also contains a direct portal link.

The design portal is showing a white screen or won't load

If the design portal shows a white screen or won't load, try the following in order:

  1. Switch browsers. Chrome works best, then Firefox.

  2. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then reload

  3. Try an incognito or private window

  4. If your logo will not accept, try a different file format (swap PNG for SVG, or vice versa) and check that the file is under typical size limits

  5. If none of that works, contact V1CE support, attach your design files and your order number, and the team will upload the design on your behalf

I want the same design as a previous order

If you want the same design as a previous order, you can select your previous design when you reach the design portal. There is no need to upload everything again.

I approved the design but want to make a change

If you have approved the design but want to make a change, contact V1CE support immediately with your order number. If the order has not yet gone to print, the team can usually pull it back and re-open the design portal for changes. Once printing has started, changes are no longer possible.
