The design portal is not working

Step-by-step fixes if the V1CE design portal is not loading, won't accept your file, or hangs. V1CE can also upload on your behalf.

The design portal is not working

If the V1CE design portal is not working (white screen, won't accept your logo, hangs on upload), try a browser swap and a file-type swap first. If those don't fix it, V1CE support can upload your design on your behalf. The card will not go to print until your design is uploaded and you have approved the mockup, so there is no time pressure to get the portal working yourself.

Quick fixes (in order)

Try these fixes in order. Most portal issues resolve at one of the first few:

  1. Switch browsers. Chrome works best for the design portal, then Firefox. If you are on Safari or another browser, switch to Chrome first.

  2. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then reload the portal

  3. Try an incognito or private window

  4. Disable browser extensions. Ad blockers and privacy extensions occasionally interfere.

  5. Check your internet connection. The portal needs a stable connection to upload files.

If your file won't upload, try a different file type

If the portal loads but rejects your logo or design file, the file itself is likely the issue. Try this:

Swap PNG for SVG, or SVG for PNG. Different parts of the portal accept different file types best.

Check the file size. Very large files (over ~10 MB) sometimes fail to upload. If your logo is huge, export a smaller version (still at 300 DPI for print quality, but lower pixel dimensions).

Use a transparent background for logos (PNG with transparency or SVG).

I still cannot access the design portal

If none of the above fixes work, V1CE support can upload your design on your behalf. To do that:

  1. Contact V1CE through live chat or email at support@v1ce.co

  2. Attach your design files: logo, any images, and a short note describing what you want (colours, layout, text)

  3. Include your order number

  4. V1CE will upload the design to the portal for you and confirm here in chat once done

  5. You then approve the mockup as normal, and the card goes to print

I was not asked to upload a design after ordering

If you were not redirected to the design portal after placing your order, you can still get to it manually:

Check your email for a design portal link from V1CE (including Spam and Junk folders).

Go directly to v1ce.co/dashboard/orders, find your order, and click into it. The design upload link is there.

If neither of those work, contact V1CE support with your order number.

The portal says my order has fewer cards than I ordered

If you ordered a bundle but the portal shows fewer cards in the design brief, contact V1CE support with your order number. The team will make sure all cards from your bundle are included in the design brief.

Will V1CE print my card if the portal is broken

No. V1CE does not print any cards, including replacements, without your design being uploaded and your mockup being approved. If the portal is broken, the card simply waits until V1CE support uploads your design on your behalf and you approve the resulting mockup. There is no risk of the card being printed with the wrong design while you are trying to fix the portal.
