How do I change the email on my account?
You can change the email on your V1CE account from your dashboard, or contact V1CE support and the team will update it for you. The fastest path is usually to ask V1CE support. They update the email server-side and you can log in immediately with the new one. No QR photo or security question required for a straightforward email change.
Quickest path: ask V1CE to update it for you
The quickest way to change your V1CE account email is to ask V1CE support. Contact V1CE with:
Your current account email (or, if you can't access it, a photo of the QR code on the back of your V1CE card).
The new email address you want to use.
V1CE updates the email on your account directly. You can then log in with the new email straight away. If you have forgotten your password after the change, use the password reset link at app.v1ce.co with the new email. The reset email goes there. Check Spam and Junk folders if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
Changing it yourself from the dashboard
You can also update the email yourself from the V1CE dashboard:
Log in at app.v1ce.co
Go to Settings, Profile
Update your email address
You may need to verify the new email. Check your inbox at the new address for a verification link
Save
I cannot access my old email any more
If you cannot access the email currently on your V1CE account (you left the job, the mailbox was closed, you forgot which one you signed up with), V1CE support can update it for you without needing access to the old inbox:
Send V1CE support a photo of the QR code on the back of your V1CE card
Tell V1CE what new email you want to use
V1CE updates the email on your account and confirms in the chat or by email
Log in with the new email. Use the password reset link if you don't remember the password
I signed up with Apple and got a privaterelay address
If you originally signed up to V1CE using Sign in with Apple and "Hide my email", your account is on an Apple private relay address (something@privaterelay.appleid.com). To change it to a normal email address you control directly:
Contact V1CE support with a photo of the QR code on the back of your card and the new email address you want to use
V1CE updates the account email from the privaterelay address to your real address
Log in with the new email and reset your password using the new address
See also I cannot log in to my account for more on the Apple private relay scenario.
I am not receiving verification emails after the change
If you've changed your email but aren't receiving verification or password reset emails at the new address:
Check the Spam, Junk, and Promotions folders of the new email.
Make sure you typed the new email correctly (V1CE updates it exactly as supplied).
If your new email is a corporate address, ask your IT team to allow emails from v1ce.co.
If nothing arrives, contact V1CE support. The team can verify you manually.
Does changing my email affect my page or cards?
No. Changing your account login email only affects how you sign in. Your digital page, V1CE cards, contacts, captured contacts, and all other data remain unchanged.
I have two V1CE accounts on different emails and want to merge them
If you have accidentally created two V1CE accounts on different email addresses and want to consolidate everything under one account, V1CE can merge them on the back-end. Contact V1CE support with both email addresses and a short note on which one you want to keep. Account merges are handled by V1CE's technical team and typically complete within a few working days.
