Some of my contact details don't show when someone saves my contact

If your job title, email, phone or address isn't showing on Save Contact, the cause is usually an outdated template. Here's the fix.

Some of my contact details don't show when someone saves my contact

On V1CE ClientCapture OS, if some of your V1CE contact details (job title, email, phone number, address, etc.) are missing when someone taps your card and presses Save Contact, the most common cause is an outdated page template. The fix is to create a new V1CE page using the current Full Profile template and reassign your physical V1CE card to it. Your QR code does not change and you don't need to reset or reprint the card.

How to fix it on V1CE ClientCapture OS (without resetting your card)

  1. Log in at app.v1ce.co

  2. Go to Pages in the sidebar and create a new V1CE page using the Full Profile template

  3. Fill in all the contact fields you want to share (name, job title, company, email, phone, address, links)

  4. Save and publish the new page

  5. Assign your existing physical V1CE card to the new page in your V1CE dashboard. The change takes effect immediately

Your QR code is unchanged. Anyone with the old link or QR is routed to the new page on its own when they tap or scan.

If you can't find the option to assign your card to a different page, your V1CE software may not have the feature on your plan. Contact V1CE support.

Why some fields don't show on Save Contact

Some V1CE page templates were built before the full Save Contact / vCard field set was supported. The most common case is the older Linktree template (now replaced by the Link-In-Bio template). Pages still on the old template don't pass all fields through when someone presses Save Contact.

The current Full Profile template supports the full Save Contact field set, including job title, multiple emails, multiple phone numbers, address, and company. The Save Contact / Full Profile features are available on V1CE Free Forever in V1CE ClientCapture OS. You do not need to be on a paid plan to use them.

How to test that Save Contact now works correctly

To check that all your fields now show on Save Contact:

  1. Tap or scan your card with a different phone (so you see what your contacts see)

  2. Press Save Contact on the resulting page

  3. Open the saved contact in your phone's address book

  4. Check every field you expect (job title, all emails, all phone numbers, company, address) is present

If anything is still missing after the new template, contact V1CE support with a screenshot of the saved contact and the team will investigate.

Do I have to delete my old page

No. You do not have to delete your old page. You can leave it on your account in case you want to switch back, or delete it later for tidiness. As long as your physical card is reassigned to the new page, the old page is no longer what people see when they tap your card.

If you are on legacy V1CE Plus, Pro, or Teams software

If your dashboard has a link switcher at the top, you are on the legacy V1CE software. On legacy, you create a new link using the Full Profile template and reassign your physical card from Tap/NFC Cards:

  1. Log in at app.v1ce.co

  2. Create a new link and a new Digital Card using the Full Profile template

  3. Fill in all the contact fields you want to share

  4. Save and publish the new page

  5. Go to Tap/NFC Cards

  6. In the Digital Card column for your existing card, click the edit pencil and select the new link from the dropdown
