My team member did not receive their V1CE invite email
If you added a team member in V1CE and they never received the welcome or invite email, the email has almost always been blocked or filtered before it reached their inbox. In most cases you can resolve it by resending the invite, checking the email address, and asking the recipient to whitelist V1CE. If the email still does not arrive, V1CE support can trigger the welcome email manually.
This article is for V1CE ClientCapture OS admins (and customers on legacy V1CE Plus, Pro, or Teams software) who manage other users on their V1CE account.
Check the email address you invited
The most common reason a team member did not receive the V1CE invite email is a typo in the email address. Open your Team section in the V1CE dashboard, find the pending invite, and confirm the address spelling is exact. If it is wrong, remove the invite and re-add the member with the correct email.
Ask the team member to check spam and junk folders
If the address is correct, ask the team member to check their spam, junk, and promotions folders for an email from V1CE. Corporate spam filters often divert first-time senders to these folders.
Resend the invite from the Team section
If the email is not in spam, resend the invite directly from the dashboard.
Go to Team in your V1CE dashboard.
Find the team member's pending row.
Click Resend invite.
Ask the team member to check both their inbox and spam folder again.
Whitelist V1CE if the team member is on a corporate inbox
If the team member is on a corporate inbox, their IT team may be blocking V1CE emails at the server level before they ever reach the user. Ask them to whitelist the v1ce.co domain with their IT team, then resend the invite.
If you are on legacy V1CE Plus, Pro, or Teams software
On the legacy V1CE Plus, Pro, or Teams software, the Team section is labelled differently but the steps are the same: find the pending team member, resend the invite, and confirm the email address spelling.
If the invite still does not arrive
If the invite still does not arrive after a resend, contact V1CE support with the team member's full email address. V1CE can trigger the welcome email manually from the back-end and set a password for the team member so they can log in straight away.
