Vantage has two places where problems get tracked: the Issues tab on individual events, and the Incidents page in the sidebar. They are connected, but they serve different purposes.
The Issues tab on an event
Every event has an Issues tab. This is where problems are logged while a job is in progress or being wrapped up. The Issues tab has two sections:
Incidents — problems that happened on the job: damaged product, location not ready, installer error, and so on.
Shortages — missing or insufficient materials discovered on site.
Incidents and shortages are always created from inside an event. There is no way to add them from anywhere else.
The Incidents page
The Incidents page in the sidebar gives you a workspace-wide view of all incidents across every event. Use it to track open problems, filter by reason or project, and manage incidents that need a follow-up visit to resolve.
