Updating and managing your VMC system language options

The VMC Language Settings allow you to customize text and language across various features, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.

Customizable Language Options Include:

  • iPad Kiosk – Labels, messages, and notifications

  • Email Notifications

  • SMS Notifications

  • Default Contact Messages

By default, English is the system language. However, you can add additional language options to your iPad Kiosks by creating a new language set and applying it through the Kiosk Designer.

Unlimited Language Customization

  • There are no limits on the number of languages you can add.

  • New language sets start in English—simply update the text fields with your desired translations.

  • Easily apply your customized language settings to improve accessibility and enhance the user experience.

Customizing Your Language

1️⃣Navigating to Language Settings

  • Log in to the web dashboard.

  • Hover over the profile icon at the bottom left.

  • Click on "Settings."

  • Select "Languages" from the left menu.

2️⃣Managing Language Options

  • View the list of available languages.

  • Modify, delete, or set a default language.

  • Add a new language by clicking the button in the top-right corner.

3️⃣Customizing Language Mappings

  • The system does not use machine or AI translations.

  • Users can manually map words, phrases, or characters to specific sections.
