User statuses
Users on the Vizibl platform can exist in the following states:
Pending
No Invite
Invited
Active
Inactive
Deleted
Pending users
They are users who have been added to a company but have not yet been approved by a company admin. You can add users in this state to any activity on the platform but they will not be sent any emails until they have been approved and their account is active. Please note that users in this state will still receive emails for event and survey invitations as you do not need to have an active Vizibl account to contribute to these activities. In-app notifications will be generated for any activity you include a pending user in, and they will receive them when their account is activated and they log in to the platform for the first time.
No Invite
These users have been added to a company by a company admin but have not yet been sent an invitation link to join the Vizibl platform. You can add users in this state to any activity on the platform but they will not be sent any emails until they have activated their account. Please note that users in this state will still receive emails for event and survey invitations as you do not need to have an active Vizibl account to contribute to these activities. In-app notifications will be generated for any activity you include a user without an invite to, and they will receive them when their account is activated and they log in to the platform for the first time.
Invited
Users with this status have been approved by a company admin and an account activation link has been sent to their email, but the user has yet to claim their invite and activate their account. As with pending users, you can add users in this state to any activity on the platform but they will not be sent any emails until they have activated their accounts. Please note that users in this state will still receive emails for event and survey invitations as you do not need to have an active Vizibl account to contribute to these activities.
Active users
have claimed their invitation link and set up their Vizibl account. They will receive emails and/or in-app notifications for any activities that relate to them.
Inactive users
Users in this state have had their accounts deactivated by a company admin. Users in this state are only visible to company admins. Inactive users can only be assigned to activities by company admins, but will still be visible in any activities they were a part of before their accounts were deactivated. Inactive users will not receive any email updates and will not be able to log in to their accounts. Please note that users in this state will still receive emails for event and survey invitations as you do not need to have an active Vizibl account to contribute to these activities. Inactive users can always be re-activated by company admins.
Deleted users
Users with this status have had their accounts deleted by a company admin. Users in this state can not be assigned to any new activities but will still be visible in any activities they were a part of before their accounts were deleted. Deleted users will not receive any email updates and will not be able to log in to their accounts. Account deletion is permanent and can not be undone by company admins. If you are a company admin and believe an account was mistakenly deleted please contact us via Intercom and we will attempt to recover the deleted account.
