Authenticator App

The Voly platform is built with 2 layers of access security – a password and a passphrase. However, the passphrase can be replaced with a unique single-use code generated by your chosen Authenticator app.

Navigate to ‘My Account’ on the Voly desktop platform by expanding the navigation bar and clicking into your name. Then click 'My Account'.

Scroll down the page and click ‘Setup Authenticator App’ which will reveal a QR code.

Important: if you are already using the Voly mobile app and have logged in with your existing passphrase, please follow the below instructions:

Navigate to ‘My Account’ on the Voly desktop platform by clicking on the two cogs icon in the top right of your screen. Scroll down to ‘Mobile Device Voly App Access’. You should see the mobile device you have logged into the platform. Click the link to ‘revoke access without a security code’. Once you have done this, sign out of the mobile app.

Open your Authenticator app on your mobile device and follow the steps for adding a new account.

Once set up, a 6-digit Verification Code will appear on your phone – enter this code into the Voly platform in the box provided and click on ‘Authenticate’. Please note, the 6-digit number will refresh, but you should see a timer or countdown for this.

The next time you log in to either the Voly desktop platform or mobile app, you will enter your password as before – however, you will now be asked to enter the 6-digit verification code shown within your Authenticator app:

Just input this code to access the platform in place of your passphrase. If you would like to revert back to using your passphrase, you can do so in the My account settings.
