How to blacklist prospects on Waalaxy?

Learn how to use the "Do Not Contact" list in Waalaxy to blacklist prospects

In Waalaxy, you can add prospects to the "Do Not Contact" list, which works as a built-in blacklist and comes with automatic safety measures to prevent any accidental re-engagement.

When should you blacklist prospects?

It may be useful to blacklist prospects who:

  • have clearly declined and no longer wish to be contacted by you ,

  • are already among your existing customers,

  • are part of a company that competes with yours.

The goal is to not waste your quotas unnecessarily or cause confusion amongst them.

How to add prospects to the "Do Not Contact" list

There are two ways to do this:

  1. From an existing list: Select the relevant prospects from your list, then click the Do not contact button in the bulk bar that appears at the top.

  2. When importing: Select "Do Not Contact" as the destination list during the import process.

What happens once a prospect is added?

A few safety measures are automatically applied:

  • Prospects are automatically removed from any active or paused campaigns as soon as they are added to the list.

  • They cannot be added to a campaign from the "Do Not Contact" list.

  • They are no longer visible under "All leads" to prevent subsequent manual errors.

  • Thanks to automatic duplicate filtering, prospects on this list will never be imported or moved to another list in the future. ✔️
