How does the Email Finder work? What is Dropcontact?

Waalaxy's goal is to make multi-channel prospecting as easy as possible, starting from LinkedIn and going towards cold-email thanks to email enrichment. But to do cold emailing, you need the email addresses of your prospects.

So we decided to integrate DropContact, the reference tool in terms of email enrichment on the market. ✅

🦕 What is email enrichment?

The enrichment of emails is to find an address from information such as the first name, last name, and company of a prospect. The goal being to be able to contact this person directly afterward.

There are two main types of email enrichment

  • Those that work with databases,

  • Those based on semantics.

The second method, on which Dropcontact works, is based on semantics. In other words, an algorithm will combine the different possible formats of the email from the first name, last name, and website of the company and then test if these emails are valid. This method has several advantages:

  • It respects the GDPR,

  • It is based on up-to-date data because it systematically checks that the email exists and is based on the LinkedIn data that we provide to the tool, which are updated by the users themselves.

🐯 How does Dropcontact email enrichment with Waalaxy work?

The credits

In Waalaxy, credits serve as our internal currency exclusively utilized for operating our Email Finder tool ✉️.

Our Email Finder integrates with Dropcontact, our partner, enabling you to enrich your prospects' profiles with professional email addresses.

1 credit spent = 1 email address found. If no email is retrieved by Dropcontact, no credits are deducted.

💡 Good to know:

  • Similar to quotas, your credits reset monthly.

  • Accumulation or rollover of credits between months is not feasible.

The Email Finder campaign

I'll show you how to launch an Email Finder campaign on the prospects of your choice 👇

Waalaxy integrates the possibility, in a big part of the available sequences, to go through an enrichment step that will directly call the Dropcontact API based on the LinkedIn info, just retrieved. 👇

The operation is quite simple and does not require any action on your part, besides adding your prospects to a campaign with an "Email Finder" step:

  • when the prospect gets to the enrichment step, we send his first name, last name, and company website to Dropcontact, which searches and returns an email if it is found.

  • If the email is found, it will go in the “Has email” part of the sequence and, if not found, in the “Does not have email” part.

🐨 Is email search included in my Waalaxy subscription?

Absolutely. Always in the interest of ease, we offer the possibility to enrich emails without having a subscription with Dropcontact.

Everything is managed automatically and integrated into your subscription.

  • The Business plan gives you access to the Enrichment feature with 500 free credits per month.

  • On the Freemium version and the Advanced plan give you access to the Enrichment feature with 25 free credits per month.

🦄 How can I launch an Email Finder campaign?

  • Go to Campaign, and Create a campaign,

  • Filter by type of action and select "Email Finder",

  • Select the sequence of your choice,

  • Start creating the campaign.

🦝 How many emails can I recover per month with this feature?

You have a quota of 500 emails per month.

Your quota is only debited for emails found, not for emails searched.

🐒 Where can I find the emails found via the campaign?

You can find the email addresses in each profile's page as shown below.

In the campaign tab, you can filter by "Current step : reached" or by "Status : Finished" to identify which one has an email.

Eventually, you can export all those prospects in a CSV file after selecting them to have the email list.
