With auto-pay, new invoices from your pet sitter are paid automatically from your saved card. Here's how it works and how to set it up in the Walkies Journal app.
Turn on auto-pay
On Home, tap the settings button at the top right.
Tap Payments.
Under Saved cards, tap Add Card and add your card.
Tap Turn on when you're asked, or turn on the switch under Auto-pay.
Your options
Max amount: invoices above this amount aren't paid automatically. Leave it at No Limit to pay every invoice.
Tip percentage: a tip added to every auto-paid invoice. Leave it at None for no tip.
Set auto-pay default: with more than one card, tap a card and choose this to pay with it.
What happens
When your pet sitter creates a new invoice, it's paid straight away from your default card, and you're told.
Invoices that were already unpaid when you turned it on aren't paid automatically. Pay those yourself.
If a payment doesn't go through, you're told, and the invoice stays unpaid for you to pay by hand.
Good to know
Auto-pay shows when your pet sitter is on Walkies Max and uses Walkies Pay.
Turn auto-pay off at any time with the same switch.
To remove a card, tap it and choose Delete.
