If Walkies can't send a record to QuickBooks, it's listed under Sync issues on the QuickBooks screen, with the reason. Here's how to fix each one, then retry or dismiss it.
See your sync issues
Tap the menu button on Home. On iPad, it's in the sidebar.
Under Company, tap QuickBooks. In the web app, go to Settings and choose QuickBooks under Company.
Sync issues is below Connection. Each issue shows what it is, like Invoice or Client, its invoice number or name, and what went wrong.
Other records keep syncing while an issue is waiting.
Retry or dismiss an issue
Fix what the message says. The fixes for each message are below.
Tap the issue, then Retry. You can also swipe left on it. On Android and in the web app, Retry and Dismiss are on the issue.
To retry every issue at once, tap Retry all.
To stop Walkies trying a record, tap the issue, then Dismiss. If you change that record in Walkies later, Walkies tries again.
Saving your QuickBooks settings retries any issue caused by a missing setting or tax code.
What each message means
A QuickBooks setting this record needs is missing. Check your QuickBooks settings. Choose the empty setting, like Refunds paid from for a refund, and tap Save. See How do I choose where my records go in QuickBooks?
This record has tax. Choose a QuickBooks tax code for taxed sales. Set Tax code for taxed sales and tap Save. See How do I set up tax or VAT for QuickBooks?
QuickBooks worked out a different total. Check your tax codes. The tax code's rate doesn't match your Service tax %. Choose the right code, save, then retry.

Another QuickBooks record already uses this client's name. Rename the other customer, supplier or employee in QuickBooks, or change your client's name in Walkies, then retry.
Your QuickBooks books are closed for this date. The record's date is before your closing date in QuickBooks. Change the closing date in QuickBooks, or add the record there yourself and dismiss the issue.
QuickBooks couldn't be reached after several tries. Walkies tried several times and QuickBooks didn't answer. Retry later.
A linked record is missing in Walkies or QuickBooks. Something this record depends on, like its invoice or customer, was deleted. If you deleted it in QuickBooks, add it back or dismiss the issue.
QuickBooks didn't accept this record. or This record couldn't be synced. Check the record in Walkies and retry. If it still doesn't sync, contact us through the Walkies app.
If syncing has stopped
Syncing is paused because this company is no longer on Walkies Max. Tap Upgrade to Max. Records keep waiting while it's paused, and are sent once you're back on Max.
Your QuickBooks connection has expired. Connect again to resume syncing. Tap Reconnect and sign in to QuickBooks again. This happens if Walkies was disconnected from inside QuickBooks, or the connection wasn't used for a long time. Your settings are kept.
