Here's how to disconnect QuickBooks, so Walkies stops sending records to it, and how to reconnect or switch to a different QuickBooks company.
Disconnect QuickBooks
Tap the menu button on Home. On iPad, it's in the sidebar.
Under Company, tap QuickBooks. In the web app, go to Settings and choose QuickBooks under Company.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Disconnect.
Tap Disconnect again to confirm.
What happens
Walkies stops sending records to QuickBooks straight away, and its access to your QuickBooks company is removed at Intuit.
Everything already in QuickBooks stays there. Nothing is deleted in QuickBooks or in Walkies.
Records waiting to sync, and any sync issues, are cleared.
Records you add or change while you're disconnected aren't sent later, even if you reconnect. If you change one again after reconnecting, it's sent then.
Reconnect
Open the QuickBooks screen the same way.
Tap Connect to QuickBooks, and sign in. See How do I connect QuickBooks Online?
If you choose the same QuickBooks company, your settings are kept, and syncing starts again straight away.
If you choose a different QuickBooks company, you set it up again before anything is sent.
Switch to a different QuickBooks company
Disconnect QuickBooks.
Tap Connect to QuickBooks, and choose the other company when QuickBooks asks.
Check the settings, and tap Save.
Nothing waiting for your old company is sent to the new one.
Good to know
If your plan changes from Walkies Max, syncing pauses instead. You can still tap Disconnect on the QuickBooks screen.
If you disconnect Walkies from inside QuickBooks, the QuickBooks screen in Walkies says "Your QuickBooks connection has expired". Tap Reconnect to start syncing again, or Disconnect to stop.
If you're closing your Walkies account, disconnect QuickBooks first.
Only the account owner can disconnect QuickBooks.
