How do I know someone booked using Gympass?

The Payment description will indicate Gympass on the class roster.

Managing Gympass Bookings

This section covers aspects of managing Gympass bookings, including cancelations, late cancel and no-show fees, setting up late cancel and no-show fees for Gympass, class availability for Gympass users.

Do late cancel and no show fees set up within Walla apply to Gympass bookings?

No, this is all managed through Gympass .

Do late cancel and no show windows within Walla apply to Gympass bookings?

No, this is all managed through Gympass.

Where do I set up late cancel and no show fees for Gympass?

There is not a Gympass specific late cancel or no-show policy. It is all managed through Gympass.

Can I cancel a Gympass booking?

Yes, but not through Walla. A Gympass user must cancel through Gympass. Once a user has checked themselves in, the booking cannot be canceled in Gympass.

What happens to Gympass bookings if I cancel a class?

The Gympass booking will be canceled as well.

Why can’t I check in a Gympass client?

Check in is completed via Gympass.


​Can I control which classes clients with Gympass can sign up for?

No, you can only set the Gympass capacity. This will apply to all classes.


​Booking Capacity for In-Person and Livestream

Based on Walla class setup.

Does a client need to create a profile within Walla first in order to book using Gympass?

No, the whole Gympass booking flow is managed through Gympass.

Plans and Gympass

If a brand new client/lead books using Gympass, will this affect their intro offer eligibility?

  • Gympass booking does not impact the client/lead's intro offer eligibility

  • A client who books through Gympass would still be eligible for an intro offer at the studio

Reports and Analytics

Which reports in Walla show Gympass bookings?

  • Upcoming Bookings

  • Class Analysis

  • Class Attendance

  • First Visit

Revenue is report directly through Gympass. Revenue from Gympass will not appear in Walla reports.

How are Gympass bookings recorded in Walla revenue reports? (Ie. calculation results on the Class Roster and Class Analysis Report)

The revenue for Gympass bookings is $0.00 since partners are paid externally.

If a client's first visit is booked using Gympass, does this function any differently than if it was booked through my site?

  • Bookings in this regard have no special difference when compared to Walla bookings

  • First Visit data and related function exactly the same

Are Gympass bookings counted towards the client Profile total visit count?

Yes, these will reflect directly within the client Profile in Walla.

How do client payment descriptions appear in the Class Roster and other areas where Gympass is used?

The payment description will be identified as Gympass.

Notifications and Automations

If a client books using Gympass will they receive all Marketing Automations (ie. First Visit milestone automation) the same as a standard booking?

Clients should receive all the communications based on your Walla site setup and client Communication Preferences.

Walla Payroll Settings

Do Gympass bookings count towards payroll headcount?

Currently, we do not exclude Gympass bookings
