From Wallib you can send crypto in several ways:
To other external wallets
Via Bitcoin on-chain
Via the Lightning Network (LN)
In USDT via the TRC20 network (Polygon coming soon too)
To other Wallib users, for free, using their @username
Keep in mind: to send crypto you must ALWAYS go into the pocket first and then use the "Send" option. The "Withdraw" option is only for sending COP to your bank.
1️⃣ Sending BTC to other wallets
You have two ways to send BTC: on-chain and via Lightning Network.
🟠 BTC on-chain
Use this to send to wallets that use the "classic" Bitcoin network.
Steps:
Open the app and go to your on-chain BTC pocket.
Tap "Send."
Paste the recipient's BTC address or scan their on-chain QR.
Enter the amount to send.
Review the summary (amount + network fee) and confirm.
⚠️ Make sure the address is a Bitcoin on-chain address. If you send to the wrong network, the funds can be lost.
⚡ BTC via Lightning Network (LN)
Ideal for fast, cheap payments. You can send using:
A Lightning invoice (long text/QR)
An email-style Lightning (LN) address, for example:
user@domain.com
Steps:
Go to your Lightning BTC pocket.
Tap "Send."
Paste the LN invoice or the Lightning address (@), or scan the LN QR.
Verify the amount and the payment details.
Confirm the send ⚡
2️⃣ Sending USDT from Wallib (TRC20)
On Wallib, USDT is sent via the TRC20 network (Tron). Support for the Polygon network will be added later, but today the active one is TRC20.
Steps:
Go to your USDT pocket.
Tap "Send."
Paste the recipient's USDT TRC20 address or scan their QR.
Enter the amount in USDT.
Review the summary (amount + network fee) and confirm.
⚠️ The destination must accept USDT TRC20. If the exchange or wallet only supports another network (for example ERC20) and you use that address, the funds can be lost.
3️⃣ Sending crypto to other Wallib users (free)
You can also send BTC or USDT to another user who has a Wallib account, with no fee between users 💜
These sends are made using their username within the app, for example: @username.
Steps:
Go into the pocket you want to send from (BTC or USDT).
Tap "Send."
Choose the "Send to Wallib user" option (or similar).
Type the @username exactly as it appears in the app.
Enter the amount.
Review the details and confirm.
✅ Transfers between Wallib users are immediate (or nearly so) and have no network fee, since they happen within the system itself.
4️⃣ Good practices before sending
To avoid surprises:
Always double-check:
The network (on-chain, LN, TRC20).
The address or @username.
If it's the first time you're sending to an external wallet, do a small test amount.
Remember: on most crypto networks, transactions cannot be reversed.
