Buying crypto on Wallib is as easy as making a deposit from your bank. You can buy Bitcoin (BTC) or digital dollars (USDT) in minutes, using PSE or Bre-B.
1️⃣ Before you start
To buy crypto on Wallib you need:
Your Wallib account created and, ideally, validated (KYC) 🪪
A bank account in Colombia enabled to pay with PSE or Bre-B
Enough balance in your bank for the amount you want to buy
💡 Tip: the minimum withdrawal amount is 20,000 COP, so it usually makes sense to buy from that range upward.
2️⃣ What happens to the money you buy with?
When you buy with PSE or Bre-B on Wallib:
If you choose BTC 👉 the balance is credited to your Bitcoin pocket on the Lightning Network (LN) ⚡
If you choose USDT / USD 👉 the balance is credited to your USDT pocket on the TRC20 network (Tron) 💵
Support for USDT on the Polygon network is coming soon, but today the active network is TRC20.
3️⃣ Step by step: buying BTC with PSE or Bre-B
Open the Wallib app. Log in and go to the "Deposit" section.
Choose the "BTC" asset. You'll see that the purchase goes to your Lightning pocket.
Enter the amount in COP. Type how much you want to pay from your bank. The app will show you the estimated amount of BTC you'll receive.
Review the summary. Before confirming you'll see: amount in COP, estimated BTC, and the total cost (including any fee).
Confirm and choose your payment method:
If you choose PSE: the app will take you to the PSE screen — select your bank, log in, and authorize the payment.
If you choose Bre-B: the app will show you your Bre-B key to transfer from your bank (see the "How do I deposit with Bre-B?" article for the full detail of this flow).
Return to Wallib. Once the payment is confirmed, your BTC will appear in your Lightning pocket ⚡
4️⃣ Step by step: buying USDT with PSE or Bre-B
Open the Wallib app. Log in and go to the "Deposit" section.
Choose the "USDT / USD" asset. You'll see that the purchase goes to your USDT (TRC20) pocket.
Enter the amount in COP. Type how much you want to pay from your bank. The app will show you the estimated amount of USDT you'll receive.
Review the summary. Before confirming you'll see: amount in COP, estimated USDT, and the total cost (including any fee).
Confirm and choose your payment method: PSE or Bre-B, following the same flow described above for BTC.
Return to Wallib. Once the payment is confirmed, your USDT will appear in your USDT (TRC20) pocket 💵
5️⃣ How long does it take?
Purchases are usually reflected within a few minutes after payment.
If you used PSE, timing can vary depending on your bank.
If you used Bre-B, it's usually faster.
6️⃣ What if I already paid but don't see the balance?
Wait a few minutes: sometimes there are small delays between the payment method, the bank, and the app.
If you still don't see the balance reflected, gather:
Proof of payment (screenshot or PDF)
Date, time, and amount of the purchase
