Half Now, Half Later (HNHL) is a flexible payment feature for Wander Sites designed to help property managers increase conversion rates. By lowering the initial financial barrier, this option encourages guests to commit to high-value luxury bookings.
What is Half Now, Half Later?
HNHL allows guests to split their total booking cost into two manageable installments:
First Payment (50%): Processed immediately at the time of booking.
Second Payment (50%): Automatically charged 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
Core Requirements and Policies
Eligibility: HNHL is only available for reservations where the check-in date is at least 31 days away.
Discounts: Any applicable discount codes are applied to the total booking amount before the cost is split between the two installments.
Failed Payments: If the second installment fails to process, the booking is automatically cancelled, and the initial 50% payment remains non-refundable.

The Guest Experience
When enabled, guests booking qualifying stays (31+ days out) will be presented with two choices at checkout: Pay in Full (default) or Pay Half Now, Half Later.
The guest's invoice and reservation details will clearly display:
The amount due upon receipt.
The remaining amount due later.
The specific due date for the second payment.
The last four digits of the card on file that will be charged.
Guests can monitor their payment status and remaining balance at any time within their trip details.
