Wander Sites includes a powerful suite of prebuilt, automated email marketing campaigns designed to help property managers drive direct bookings and increase guest retention. These campaigns trigger automatically based on guest behavior and booking milestones, allowing for a "set it and forget it" marketing strategy.


Brand Consistency and Deliverability

To ensure a professional experience, emails are sent directly from contact@[your domain] (e.g., contact@yourbrand.com).

  • Authentication: We use Postmark to manage delivery, utilizing DKIM and DMARC records to ensure your emails land in the inbox and not the spam folder.

  • Fallback: If your custom DNS records are not yet connected, emails will temporarily send from contact@wander.site.

How to Activate Campaigns

  1. Verify DNS Records: During onboarding, ensure you have added the two required Postmark DNS records (DKIM and DMARC) to your domain provider. This is critical for email authentication.

  2. Access the Dashboard: Log in to app.wander.com and navigate to Growth > Email Campaigns in the sidebar.

  3. Review and Preview: Click into any campaign to see:

    • About This Campaign: A description of what the campaign does and when it triggers.

    • Metrics: Open rates, click rates, and send counts for active campaigns.

    • Preview: A preview of the email your guests will receive.

      • Note: Creating custom email templates is not currently available, but this feature is coming soon!

    • History: A log of recent email sends for that campaign.

  4. Toggle to Activate: Switch the toggle to ON for the campaigns you wish to start. Guests are enrolled automatically based on their activity—no manual contact uploading is required.

  • Check Metrics Weekly: Monitor your open and click rates to see which properties or offers are generating the most interest.

  • Connect Your Domain Early: Ensure your DNS is verified early to build your domain's "sender reputation" and ensure the highest delivery rates for your brand.

Q1. Can I edit the email templates or create custom ones?

  • Not currently. The system uses high-converting prebuilt templates that dynamically populate guest names and property details. Custom editing and multi-email series are planned for a future release.

Q2. Do I need to manage my own contact list?

  • No. Your contact list is built automatically as guests interact with your site or sync from your Property Management System (PMS).

Q3. What happens if I turn a campaign off?

  • The campaign stops sending immediately. You can toggle any campaign back on at any time to resume automated messaging.
