When you join, we'll walk you through Orientation, a guided tour that sets up your profile and introduces you to every part of the app. Because part of the ORIENTATION may include watching a course lesson, it can take about 25-30 minutes start to finish.
Important Note: Access to the mobile app is blocked until ORIENTATION on web browser is complete. This is not optimized for mobile browser.

What Orientation Covers
Orientation moves through each part of the app in order, unlocking the next one as you complete the last:
1. Sign-Up — the basics: your location, birthday, interests, and a few personal details
2. My-Portal — build your profile, write your bio, and share your first introduction
3. Open Portal — your curated feed, and your first reply to another member
4. Archive — your first course lesson
5. Focus — set up your Daily Check-In and your first goal
6. Explore — the public feed, where you'll see what's happening across the whole community
7. Groups — join a couple groups based on your interests
8. Forum — pin a forum and jump into a thread
9. Events — open the calendar and RSVP to your first event
10. Oasis — step into the space, set up your mic and camera, and find the lobby
11. Home — everything's unlocked, and you're set up to explore on your own
What You're Earning Along the Way
As you move through Orientation, you'll pick up Prana and Achievements for the moments you show up, and you'll invest that Prana to unlock each next step. By the time you reach Home, everything is fully unlocked.

Below is a list of all the required tasks, the task reminder in the platform will tell you what's next, but use this list to monitor your progress.

2. Write your ABOUT ME Bio for your Profile | MY-PORTAL | Whatever you feel like sharing! This can be edited at any time. Learn more HERE |
3. Share Your Introduction | MY-PORTAL | You can keep this a quick 'hello, new here!' if needed! But you must post to unlock the next steps. |
4. Reply to one post | OPEN PORTAL | Any post (including your own!) is up for grabs! Make any reply to a post to unlock the next step |
5. Accept ARCHIVE Terms | ARCHIVE | Required before continuing. If you are not seeing Terms to Accept, please reach out to support |
6. Complete COURSE Lesson | ARCHIVE | The specific lesson required will depend on your membership, but there will also only be one available course lesson to complete. Watch to 80% to mark it 'completed' |
7. Bookmark a Lesson | ARCHIVE | While you're in there — go ahead and bookmark the lesson you just wanted (it will be on the same screen) and you'll unlock the next step |
8. Accept FOCUS Terms | FOCUS | Required before continuing. If you are not seeing Terms to Accept, please reach out to support |
9. Mark DAILY CHECKLIST Complete | FOCUS | You checklist will be prefilled today — marking both items complete will unlock the next step |
10. View Milestones | FOCUS | There's a 'Milestone Shelf' glowing below your 'next milestone' card — click to open and look below this chart for a visual of what you're looking for! |
11. Open PORTAL in DOCK | PORTAL | We're navigating back to learn more about PORTAL so this step is to just navigate out of FOCUS |
12. Click EXPLORE | EXPLORE | You'll then click on PORTAL in the DOCK one more time — this will refresh the page and now any time you click PORTAL in the DOCK moving forward, you'll be brought to EXPLORE! |
13. Join a 'Recommended' Group | GROUPS | See a list of groups and click one to open. There will be a 'Join Group' toggle that then asks you to accept the group guidelines. Once you have you can close the pop-up. Not seeing any recommend groups? Go add some interests over in EDIT MY-PORTAL |
14. Join a 'Community' Group | GROUPS | Same deal! You're just now on the Community tab - join one more group here to unlock the next step |
15. Pin a FORUM | FORUM | Follow the steps to get all the way INSIDE a FORUM where you'll see a PIN icon next to the name and profile pic, click to unlock the next step. |
16. RSVP to an Event | EVENTS | Check out our upcoming Events and RSVP. If you can't attend, choose one to click RSVP to in order to unlock the next step. You can always change your response by clicking the same button again to remove your RSVP |
17. Open the Full Calendar | EVENTS | You see a calendar in the upper right corner — click anywhere to open. Then close the pop-up to continue ORIENTATION |
18. Accept OASIS Terms | OASIS | Required before continuing. If you are not seeing Terms to Accept, please reach out to support |
19. Read OASIS Story | OASIS | Click on the Story Icon in the DOCK then click the 'I have read this' confirmation button at the bottom of the story pop-up |
20. Go into a BIOM and VISTA | OASIS | You'll see a glowing pin which will lead you to a VISTA (the open room called THE OASIS | Internal Mansion) |
21. Enter a ROOM | OASIS | Drag your Avatar into a room marked 'OPEN' - make sure to give it a name: 'Testing' works! |
22. Configure Your Mic and Camera Access | OASIS | Learn all about this process HERE (includes video tutorial) |
23. Leave the ROOM to go HOME | OASIS | Hit the read 'LEAVE' button which takes you back to the VISTA, then look for the HOME icon |
24. Complete ORIENTATION | HOME | You've made it! Any questions, feel free to contact Support |

Once Orientation is done, you're free to explore everything at your own pace. Prana keeps working the same way from here on, through Daily Activity and everyday use.

Can I stop partway through and come back later?
Yes. Your progress is saved automatically. Close the app anytime and pick up right where you left off.
Why can't I access a feature yet?
Features unlock in order as you move through Orientation. This is on purpose, not a bug. See Why Can't I Access a Feature Yet? for more.
