When you first enter OASIS, you'll be at the Overview Map. From there there are a couple of ways to navigate through the BIOMES, into VISTAS, where you can then enter into the actual voice and video spaces (i.e., voice and video rooms).
You can navigate using the prompts on screen -or- the BIOMES list in the Dock.
🔑 Setup for Success
• The first time you visit OASIS you must accept the Terms & Conditions before access the space.
• You must have an active membership with THE COLLECTIVE
• If you deny microphone and camera permissions once, you will not be able to unmute or share your camera until you go into your browser's settings and grant those permissions.

To begin: Visit visit www.app.watersabove.com and Enter OASIS from the Home Screen or the DOCK
🗺️ Overview Screen

HOME: Click this button to leave OASIS entirely and return to the Home Screen of WatersAbove™ Platform
BACK: once you begin navigating through OASIS this back button will let you retrace your steps and eventually get back to the Home Screen
STORY: Open this at ANY level (i.e., Overview Map, Biome, or VIsta) to read about the purpose and curated story for the space you are in.
OASIS: This is your quick link back to this Overview Map. If you are in a Biome or Vista and want to get back to the Map, click this button.
BIOMES: this is a quick reference of all the BIOMES and their VISTAS as quick links for easy access. See Image Below
SETTINGS: You can access any Settings while still on the Overview Map.
📋 BIOMES List
When you click on 'BIOMES' in the Dock it brings up the BIOMES LIST.
Click on the Chevron to Expand or Collapse the Biome to See the VISTAS inside
Click on the 'Go' button to either enter the Biome -or- the specific BIOME
The Number Next to a BIOME of VISTA name means someone is currently inside. The number will show exactly how many people are there.

Another way to enter a BIOME is to zoom in or Hover over the (PORTAL Icon) and click on the Name of the BIOME.
No matter how you get there, once you're inside a BIOME you'll be presented with the option to GO LEFT -or- GO RIGHT into a VISTA.
ℹ️ Remember that there is a Specific STORY here as well!
🏞️ VISTA
Once you have made your selection you are inside a VISTA, the final stop before sharing sharing your microphone and camera and chatting with members.

AVATAR: This is you! Drag your AVATAR over an 'ENTER' or 'JOIN' button to enter the space.
ENTER: This means no one is currently inside the room
JOIN: This means this room has people inside. It will show the exact number of participants and show up to three Avatars of members who are currently inside.
MENU: This menu icon will pull up a quick list of all the rooms as well as their titles for quick Navigation and a sneak peak at who is inside.

You've made it! You have now shared your mic and camera permissions (even if they are turned off right now) and you can connect with other members!

AVATAR: This is you! You can drag your avatar around to fit the space you're in. If you share your camera, your face with appear inside this avatar!
CAMERA: Click here to turn your Device Camera on or off
MICROPHONE: Click here to run your microphone on or off
END CALL: Click here to leave the call, which will disconnect your microphone and camera and bring your back to the VISTA.
CHAT: Click here to open and close the Chat.
VIEWS TOGGLE: Choose between 'Chaos' mode (where everyone's avatars hover wherever they place them -or- Grid Mode (for a more organized feel)
BONUS VIEWS!
If you hover over someone's avatar you have two more view options: Full-Screen, and Mid-Screen.

FULL SCREEN: This is you! You can drag your avatar around to fit the space you're in. If you share your camera, your face with appear inside this avatar!
POP-UP SCREEN: Brings up a mid-size screen so you can see the ACTIVE SPEAKER more clearly while still staying within the background space.
Important Notes:
You can open these views by clicking on anyone's Avatar, however it will only show the ACTIVE SPEAKER in those views.
If someone is the active speaker and NOT sharing their Camera

📖 Glossary
THE COLLECTIVE by WatersAbove— The name of the membership-only Community hosted on the WatersAbove™ Platform and Mobile App.
OASIS—A curated set of audio/video rooms for meetups and events, functioning as a 24/7 space to gather, join live discussion or co-working sessions alongside other community members
OVERVIEW MAP—The default landing space inside OASIS where members can then navigate through Biomes and Vistas into voice and video spaces. It acts as the lobby for quick orientation and one‑click navigation to rooms. No audio/video can be shared at this level.
HALO—The Outer Ring Building as seen in the OVERVIEW MAP of OASIS
BIOME—A point on the OASIS OVERVIEW MAP where the user is given two options, two Vistas to choose from.
VISTA—The themed scenes in OASIS. Each vista is a POV environment you can jump into from the map or lobby, used for gathering, navigation, and to see where members are congregating. No audio/video can be shared at this level.
STORY—A curated story of the Specific map, biome, or vista that shares the inspiration behind the space as well as the general purpose of the space.
