When you are about to enter a voice and video space within OASIS you have the ability to share your camera and/or microphone (or decline). The first time you do this you will also be asked to share your device permissions.

🔑 Setup for Success
• You must grant app.watersabove.com your device permissions if you want to share your camera or microphone.
• If you declined this permission at any time, you will need to go into your Browser's Settings to grant access in order to continue.
• You are never required to grant your device permissions. However, this means you will remain in "Listen Mode" only and only be able to chat via text.

Phase 1: Click to Enter
Visit www.app.watersabove.com)
Enter OASIS
Click into a BIOME
Choose a VISTA to Enter
Drag your Avatar Over a BUTTON -or- Click Directly on The Button
If you are the first Member, give the room a topic! Or Click 'Join Discussion"
It is at this point inside OASIS where you will sharing your microphone and Camera Permissions.
Phase 2: Grant Permission
By default your Camera and Microphone are turned off
Turn on Camera -or- Microphone if desired.
Hit the 'End Call' button to close the screen without entering the room
Click join now to enter the room
TIP: If you are NOT seeing a 'Camera' or 'Microphone' Icon on this Screen, it means you have declined to grant those specific permissions with app.watersabove.com.
For example, in Chrome I can click the 'Settings' icon near the URL (you will need to find where these settings are for your particular browser) and change the permissions.

Every time you join a Room you will be asked whether you want to share your microphone or camera.

THE COLLECTIVE by WatersAbove— The name of the membership-only Community hosted on the WatersAbove™ Platform and Mobile App.
OASIS—A curated set of audio/video rooms for meetups and events, functioning as a 24/7 space to gather, join live discussion or co-working sessions alongside other community members
OVERVIEW MAP—The default landing space inside OASIS where members can then navigate through Biomes and Vistas into voice and video spaces. It acts as the lobby for quick orientation and one‑click navigation to rooms. No audio/video can be shared at this level.
BIOME—A point on the OASIS OVERVIEW MAP where the user is given two options, two Vistas to choose from.
VISTA—The themed scenes in OASIS. Each vista is a POV environment you can jump into from the map or lobby, used for gathering, navigation, and to see where members are congregating. No audio/video can be shared at this level.
