All brand requests have to be submitted to Admin for approval. This is to control brand identity and ensure duplicates are not created due to spelling errors, etc.
Anyone using the platform can request a brand, and once that brand has been approved it is available for all users of the platform to select for their products.
Request New Brand form - General tab
Enter the Brand name you require. If another identical brand name has already been added, an error message will appear. Brand names are not case sensitive, so if another brand has already been added but with different cases, contact Admin if you want it updated.

Media tab
The Media tab is used to add and manage the brand Logo and Banner images. You can leave this section blank if you don't want to upload images for the brand.
Note: Neither the brand logo/banner is displayed on the front end of your shop.
Tip: If you want to upload an image for the brand, watersorted recommends only uploading the Logo image to help Admin recognise the brand.
You can upload the following types of images for both the brand Logo and Banner:
JPEG
JPG
PNG
The icons located in the top RH corner of an uploaded image can be used for:
icon - upload a new image
icon - delete the existing image
Uploading your logo
Ratio – you can select which ratio you prefer to display your logo, and the platform recommends the preferred dimensions underneath the upload field. The option you select is highlighted blue. You can choose from the different ratio options:
1:1 (Square)
16:9 (Landscape)

Uploading your Banner
Display for – you can select which device you want to upload the image for, and the platform recommends the preferred dimensions underneath the upload field. You can upload images for the following devices:
Desktop
iPad
Mobile
Editing your uploaded images
When you select an image to upload, a Brand logo/banner window will open allowing you to edit the image and then finish uploading it.
You can only resize, rotate, or flip the image using the tools available. Image quality such as autocorrect or applying filters cannot be performed.
You can zoom in/out of the image using the scroll button on the mouse.
- cancel editing and image upload.
- apply edits, upload the image, and close the window.
Reviewing your brand request
Navigate to Shop>Requests to view approved brand requests or edit waiting requests.
