How to configure the Media tab

If you have configured and saved the General and Details tabs, the rest of the shop form tabs are now available to edit.

Tip: You can edit the rest of the tabs in any order.

The Media tab is used to add and manage your shop Banner and Logo images.

  • Shop Banner - displayed across the top of the screen when your shop is viewed.

  • Shop Logo - displayed as your shop icon when multiple shops are viewed, and underneath the shop banner on the RHS.

You can upload the following types of images for both the shop Banner and Logo:

  1. JPEG

  2. JPG

  3. PNG

The icons located in the top RH corner of an uploaded image can be used for:

  • icon - upload a new image

  • icon - delete the existing image

Uploading your Banner

Display for – you can select which device you want to upload the image for, and the platform recommends the preferred dimensions underneath the upload field. You can upload images for the following devices:

  1. Desktop

  2. iPad

  3. Mobile

Uploading your Logo

Ratio – you can select which ratio you prefer to display your logo, and the platform recommends the preferred dimensions underneath the upload field. The option you select is highlighted blue. You can choose from the different ratio options:

  1. 1:1 (Square)

  2. 16:9 (Landscape)

  3. Free

Editing your uploaded images

  1. When you select an image to upload, a Shop banner/logo window will open allowing you to edit the image and then finish uploading it.

  2. You can only resize, rotate, or flip the image using the tools available. Image quality such as autocorrect or applying filters cannot be performed.

  3. You can zoom in/out of the image using the scroll button on the mouse.

  4. - cancel editing and image upload.

  5. - apply edits, upload the image, and close the window.

Note: Ignore the Collections tab for now - you cannot create collections until you have added products and inventory.
