đ Availability
Upload methods, supported sources, file size, and bulk-import limits can depend on your plan and workspace.
If a local upload or video link fails, the cause is usually access, file size, file format, source support, or network stability.
Quick checks
What to check | Why it matters |
The video can be viewed without logging in | WayinVideo accesses the video as a public viewer, not through your account |
The source is supported | Unsupported sites may not import correctly |
The video is not private, deleted, expired, or region-restricted | WayinVideo may not be able to open the video |
Your plan supports local upload | Free does not include local device uploads |
The file is within your plan's size limit | Starter supports up to 10 GB; Pro and Scale support up to 30 GB |
The file format is supported | Local upload supports MP4, MOV, WEBM, and AVI |
Your connection is stable | Large uploads can fail on unstable networks |
Supported link sources
The link importer currently supports:
Google Drive
Zoom
Twitch
Kick
TikTok
Facebook
Instagram
Rumble
Vimeo
Dailymotion
Medal.tv
Source availability can change. The source icons shown in WayinVideo are the current list for your account.
Fix a private or restricted link
If the video is hosted on Google Drive, Zoom, or another shared source, check the sharing settings.
Try this:
Open the video link in a private or signed-out browser window.
Confirm the video can play without logging in.
If it cannot open, update the sharing settings.
Copy the updated share link.
Paste the new link into WayinVideo.
A login-only, expired, deleted, or region-restricted video can fail even if the link works for you while signed in.
Fix a local upload
If a local file fails to upload, check:
Your plan includes local upload
The file is MP4, MOV, WEBM, or AVI
The file is within your plan's size limit
Your network connection is stable
Your browser tab stays open during the upload
If the upload keeps failing, try a smaller version of the file or a more stable network.
Contact support
If the upload or link still fails, contact support with:
Your WayinVideo account email
The video source or upload type
The link, if it is shareable
