WebCargo’s Rate Management Control Panel provides a centralized dashboard for freight forwarders to manage and monitor key rate management features, while offering a high-level view of current configurations, alerts on important updates, and highlights additional features available through service upgrades.
This gives you a centralized view of key features like rate uploads, surcharges, IATA configurations, and tenders, with important alerts to know everything happening within the system.

Navigating to the Control Panel
To navigate to the Control Panel, click on the side menu, then go to the Rate management section. Then click on Control Panel.
This will then take you to the dashboard, where you will see an overview of activities for rate uploading, local charges, rate sharing, IATA configuration status, surcharges, and tenders.
2. Viewing alerts and updates
Within the alerts section, you will find updates on each of the sections and necessary configurations for key features like rate upload, local charges, surcharges, IATA Configurations, and tenders.
Hovering above the tool tip “i” will show you what the different colours mean for each alert.
Click on the dropdown to view the alerts by Most recent or Most urgent.
3. Viewing a summary of rate uploads
Within the My Rates section, you’ll see a summary of uploaded rates. This will show you rates that are active or nearing expiration.
Navigate to different sections on the platform from the My rates section. Click on the Bulk rate upload icon to go to the page where you can upload your rates en masse.
To navigate to the section to upload singular rates, click on the Go to Rate upload button.
Important: Please note that this option will only appear if you are a Professional or Enterprise account holder and have the tool activated. Please contact your account manager if you don’t see this tool. Find the email address for your country in this article.
Finally, if you want to compare rates with previously uploaded rates, click the See rate comparison link. This will take you to the Rate comparison tool.
4. Viewing a summary of local charges
Next, you have the Local charges section, where you can view a summary of all local charges on your account. This includes those that are expiring and expired, as well as Services, Post code zones, and Sales profiles which have been created.
Navigate directly to the section to Add local charges by clicking on the plus symbol. This will take you to the section where you can enter local charge information.
Clicking on the arrow corresponding to Services will take you to the Services section. Find out more about managing services here.
Clicking on the arrow corresponding to Post code zones will take you to section where you can manage your created Post code zones.
Clicking on the arrow corresponding to Sales profiles will take you to the section where you can view and manage your Sales profiles. Find out more about managing Sales profiles in this article.
5. Viewing a summary of rate sharing activities
Within the Rate sharing section, view the performance of static and dynamic rates shared with other business units or forwarders, including the number of quotes and bookings generated via rate sharing activities.
Click on the arrow corresponding to the FFWs in booking delegation to go to the eBooking delegation section, where you can manage and configure eBooking delegations. Find out more about eBooking delegation in this article.
Click on the arrow corresponding to the FFWs in static rate sharing to go to the Static rate sharing section, where you can manage and configure who receives static rates shared by your company. Find out more about eBooking delegation in this article.
6. How to view IATA configuration status
Within the section named Configure airlines you can see a list of all airlines that have been configured for instant price comparison and eBooking for each IATA code (if you have multiple under your account).
If some airlines aren’t configured for instant price comparison and eBooking, click on the See configuration instructions button.
This will trigger a pop-up which will give you details about how to register with each airline.
7. Summary of surcharges activities
Within the Surcharges section, you can view recent and upcoming updates with surcharges from within your account.
You can filter the type of surcharges shown by clicking on the dropdown. These can either be by Most recent or Upcoming changes.

8. How to view tender activity
Finally, within the Tenders section, you’ll find information about tenders that have been created by colleagues in your team.

Click on the “+” button to go to the section to add a new tender.
And click on the arrow symbol to go to the Tenders section, where you can manage all of your tenders in one place.
