New frontpage: Setup

Here you can get an introduction to how to set up your new frontpage(s)

Updated over a week ago

In this acticle we will go through how you set up your new frontpage(s) in webCRM. If you haven't already read them, you can also have a look at the introduction and the guides for the new panels (KPI panels, performance panels and graphs) that show how you can set it all up.

In webCRM you can set up the frontpage exactly how you like it, and you can create several pages for different purposes.

You can edit the different access levels and decide which ones should be able to se, create and edit frontpages.

Create a new frontpage

In order to create a new frontpage you need to click on the blue plus (+) in the top corner and choose "Blank Dashboard":

Give it a name and a description and choose the users who should have access to this frontpage.

In the example below we have made a frontpage for two leaders in a company - only these two will be able to see this frontpage. When the fields are filled out and the users chosen, we click "Create".

Drag'n drop panels

When you have created you frontpage you will see a blank canvas with an entity panel in the right side. It contains all the entity lists you can add to your frontpage, and it is a 'drag and drop' setup mening you just drag the panels you need from the right side and onto the canvas.

You can adjust the size of all panels by dragging from the bottom right corner.

In every panel you drag to the canvas you can set up filtering and shown fields by clicking on the pencil in the corner of the panel.

Read more about how to set up the different panels here:

As mentioned earlier you can create several frontpages in your system. Administrators (access level 99) can edit the frontpages for all users under "Settings" and "Edit Settings for all user's dashboards":

Standard users can only edit their own frontpages/those they have access to, and that is done by clicking on the cogwheel:

In the top left corner you can get an overview of the frontpage you are editing. You can choose between the different ones you want to edit by clicking on the drop down menu next to "Configure":

In the top right corner you can choose the default frontpage and you can choose to delete the current page you are editing (bin) and edit the name and users (pencil). Remember to press "Save" when you are done with setting up the page.

When you are on your default frontpage (and no longer in settings) you can switch between the different frontpages by clicking on the name and a drop down will appear with all the frontpages available for you:
