Whippy's Webchat can provide an efficient and personalized way of engaging with website visitors. This integration allows you to nurture leads effectively and helps you build stronger relationships with your prospective customers. This article explains the settings for webchat.

Webchat settings can be found here.

Image

The image you select in settings will show on the chat, just like the Whippy logo below.

Greeting

Your greeting message will show alongside your image. The greeting is what customers will see when they visit your website.

Bubble Color

The bubble color is the color of the chat button. You should choose a color that matches your brand and stands outs.

Locations

If you have multiple locations/lines with Whippy, this is where you can choose which ones your customers can see/send a message to via the webchat.

Webchat Snippet

This is the code you'll use to integrate the webchat into your website. You should forward this code to your website admin.

Webchat Position

You can choose which side of the screen you want the webchat to appear on. For the best visibility, it's recommended to place it in the right corner.

Webchat Display

You can choose to display the webchat at all times or only when you're open or closed. The settings for open and closed are dependent on the business hours you have set for your location. You can review business hours by editing a location here.
