Setting Up an Away Message

🕰️ Whippy allows you to set up an away message that automatically replies to users who message you outside of your business hours. This feature ensures that your customers receive a timely response even when you’re not available:

1. Access Settings

Go to the Whippy Settings: Locations manually or by clicking https://app.whippy.co/settings/locations

2. Edit Location Settings

Find the location you want to set up the away message for and click on Edit Location.

3. Access Auto Response Settings

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the arrow next to the Send Auto Responses section.

4. Select Auto Response Type

Choose the type of Auto Response mode you want to enable. You can decide when business hours auto-responses should be sent.

5. Edit After Business Hours Message

To set or modify the message that will be sent outside of business hours, click on the arrow next to the After Business Hours Auto Response section.

6. Update the Auto Response

Enter your desired away message and click Update Auto Response to finalize the setup.


Feature Tip:

1. Edit During Business Hours Message

If you want to set or update the auto-response message that goes out during business hours, click on the arrow next to the During Business Hours Auto Response section.

2. Update the Auto Response

Update the message as needed and click Update Auto Response to save your changes.
