Maintaining a tidy inbox is crucial for keeping track of conversations that require follow-up. The best way to achieve this is by closing conversations that are resolved. This guide will help you understand how to effectively close and reopen conversations in Whippy.

1. Navigate to your Inbox

Go to the Whippy Inbox by clicking https://app.whippy.co/inbox/all/open. This will take you directly to your list of all conversations.

2. Select the Conversation You Want to Close

You can search for the conversation using the search bar at the top or by scrolling through your list of conversations.

3. Click the Checkmark Icon

In the conversation view, click on the checkmark icon to close the conversation. This action indicates that the conversation is resolved and no longer requires immediate attention.

4. Success! Your Conversation is Closed

Once you click the checkmark, the conversation will be marked as closed. This helps in maintaining an organized inbox and allows you to focus on open conversations that need your attention.

Manually Opening a Conversation

1. Go to your Closed tab in the inbox

Navigate to the Closed tab in your inbox. This tab contains all the conversations that have been marked as closed.

2. Select the conversation you want to open.

You can search for the conversation using the search bar at the top or by scrolling through your list of conversations.

3. Click on the "Mail" Icon

Click on the "Open" button or icon to change the status of the conversation back to open.

4. Success! Your Conversation is Opened

After clicking the "Open" button, the conversation will move back to the Open tab, and you will see a confirmation that the conversation has been successfully opened.

Feature Tip: Automatically Reopening Conversations

๐Ÿ’กIf a closed conversation receives a new message, it will automatically move back to the Open tab. This ensures that no follow-up message goes unnoticed and that you can promptly respond to new inquiries or updates in the conversation.
