In features such as Templates and Signatures, you can select the permissions for users. Permissions determine who in the company can see and use the template or signature. This guide takes the template feature as an example.

1. Navigate to your Inbox

Go to the Whippy Inbox by clicking https://app.whippy.co/inbox/all/open. This will take you directly to your list of all conversations.

2. Open the Desired Conversation

Select the conversation where you want to create or manage a template. This can be any conversation in your inbox.

3. Click on "Templates"

In the conversation window, find and click on the "Templates" option. This will open the templates management page where you can view, edit, and create templates.

4. Click "Add Template"

Choose the option to add a new template. This will open the template creation form where you can input the details for your template.

5. Fill Out the Template Information and Select Permissions

Enter the necessary information for your template, such as the template name and message content. Then, select the appropriate permissions for the template:

  • User: Only the creator can see and use the template.

  • Location: Only users from a specific location can see and use the template.

  • Organization: All users within the organization can see and use the template.

6. Click "Save Template"

After filling out the template information and selecting the permissions, click "Save Template" to store your newly created template.

7. Done!

Your template is now available to users based on the permissions you have set. Depending on the selected permissions, the template can be accessed by the designated users.
