The Opportunities tab in My Buyers keeps all your buyer activity in one place—whether vehicles are linked through lead submissions, prospecting, manual association, or off-lot updates. With everything centralized, you can:
Track buyer interests across your inventory
Prioritize follow-ups to the most promising leads
Maintain consistent communication to strengthen relationships
By leveraging the Opportunities tab, you can respond faster to buyer inquiries, keep your inventory relevant, and improve your overall sales efficiency. Understanding and using this feature helps you stay organized, proactive, and delivers a better experience for your buyers.
Understanding How Listings Become Opportunities in My Buyers
Listings can become Opportunities in four different ways. Click below to explore each different way.
Interacting with Opportunities
Here’s how you can access and manage Opportunities effectively:
Step 1: Go to the My Buyers Page
Step 2: Viewing the My Buyers Page
This is your central hub to manage all buyers assigned to you. You’ll see buyer information, activity logs, and tools to help manage communication.
Step 3: Navigate to an Individual Buyer
Step 4: Viewing Buyer Information
The buyer’s information page shows:
Buyer details
Activity logs
Opportunities
Tasks and notes
Access to tools like Prospecting and email
Step 5: Access the Opportunities Tab
Click the Opportunities tab to see how many Opportunities are associated with that Buyer.
Step 6: Interacting with a Buyer’s Opportunities
Use the Actions menu on the right side of each listing or click on a specific opportunity to to perform various tasks.
Prospect
This is only available only if the 2-Minute Prospecting feature is enabled.
Clicking Prospect for an in-stock listing opens the 2-Minute Prospecting page with both the Buyer and Listing pre-populated.
Clicking Prospect for a non-stock listing opens the page with only the Buyer pre-populated.
Print VDP
Opens the standard Print Options pop-up from the Vehicle Detail Page (VDP), with all customization options available.
Create Task
This is available only if the Tasks feature is enabled.
Opens the Create Task modal with the Buyer field automatically pre-filled.
Mark as Purchased
This action becomes available only for vehicles already marked Off Lot to avoid moving inventory unintentionally.
Opens the Mark as Sold pop-up (similar to Inventory Management) with the Buyer name pre-filled and the Status pre-set to “Sold.”
Silence Notifications
This will only be available if Movement Alerts are enabled for the dealership.
Allows the dealer to disable Movement Alerts for specific opportunities using Silence Notifications.
Once alerts are silenced, the action changes to Enable Notifications to re-activate alerts.
Archive / Unarchive
Manually Creating an Opportunity
You are able to manually associate listings with a Buyer whenever needed. Follow the steps below to add a listing directly to a Buyer’s Opportunities:
Click “Add Opportunity”
From the Buyer’s Opportunities tab, select the Add Opportunity button to open the New Opportunity pop-up.Search by VIN or Stock Number
Enter the full or partial VIN or Stock Number in the search field to locate the desired vehicle.Include Past Inventory (Optional)
If needed, check the option to include Past Inventory in your search results.Select the Correct Listing(s)
The system will display all matching listings.
If multiple results appear, you can use the multi-select feature to choose more than one listing at once.Add the Opportunity
Click Add Opportunity button to associate the selected listing(s) with the Buyer.
Once added, the vehicle(s) will appear in the Buyer’s Opportunities list labeled Type: Manual, making it easy to track and manage going forward.
