How to Import Your Buyer List

Centralize your existing customer relationships by importing your historical buyer data into the Work Truck Solutions portal.

Why Importing Your Data Matters for Your Bottom Line

Your dealership’s existing client base is your most valuable asset. By importing your previous buyers, you can track their current behavior on your site and identify when they are back in the market for a new unit. This proactive visibility allows you to protect your gross profit on specialized units and ensures you remain the primary provider for their service needs.


Step 1: Prepare Your Data

Before starting the import, ensure your customer list is saved in a standard format:

  1. Format: Use a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file.

  2. Required Fields: Ensure your file has clear columns for First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.

    1. Pro-Tip: If you have vocational data (e.g., "Landscaping" or "Plumbing"), include that column to improve your specialized targeting.


Step 2: Launch the Import Tool

  1. Log into your Work Truck Solutions dealer portal.

  2. Navigate to the Buyers tab in the navigation bar.

  3. Click the Import button located in the top right corner of the dashboard.


Step 3: Upload and Map Your Fields

  1. Drag and drop your CSV file into the upload area or click Select File.

  2. Match the columns from your file to the portal fields (e.g., matching your "Work Email" column to our "Email" field).

  3. Review the preview to ensure names and contact info appear correctly before finalized.


Step 4: Finalize and Track

  1. Click Finish Import.

  2. The Result: Your imported buyers will now appear in your My Buyers list.

  3. The Advantage: If any of these imported customers visit your site, the system will now recognize them, alerting you to their interest in specific inventory before they even submit a new lead.
