Updating Your E-Verify Web Services Password

Every three (3) months, E-Verify’s Web Services requires you to change your user passwords for security reasons. If you have the WorkBright E-Verify feature, then WorkBright is using one of these Web Services log-ins to connect with your E-Verify account.

When you change the password in E-Verify because of this requirement, you will ALSO need to update the password in WorkBright.

Step 1: Change the Password in E-Verify

To change your Web Services account password start by having your Program Administrator log on to the E-Verify web site.

In the top right, click the Program Administrator's name, click Company Account, and Manage Users.



You will see a "password change required" under status. You will click on your Web Services Credentials ID under User/Web Services ID to get to the change password button.


From here, you will scroll down and under ‘Password,’ you will click "Change Password". Enter the desired password in the boxes and click "Save".


Step 2: Copy the New Password and update it in WorkBright

Go to Settings > E-Verify and click “Update Credentials.” You will enter your same


Here you will keep the same username and update it with the newest password you created.

That's it! You're good to go (for another 3 months).
